It is understood that police verification of tenants is mandatory.

However, as per RTI reply furnished by Gurugram Police vide letter No.5113-D dated 30.12.2022   verification of tenants residing in 13/704, AVL 36 Society, Sector 36, Gurugram, Haryana is not done. Copy of the reply is enclosed.

1. Please intimate action taken by Chairman, State Police Complaints Authority with regard to the above lapse on the part of police.

2. Please intimate total number of tenants in the above society who are residing without police verification.

If the information is not available with the public authority, the same may be called from the RWA of the above society as per provisions of RTI Act, 2005.

NOTE: - I am enclosing self-attested Xerox copy of Voter ID card as a proof of my Indian Citizenship. The address that is appearing on my voter ID card is my residential address, I am filing the RTI request from my office address.
