As per rules, affordable housing projects have to provide free maintenance for 5 years. However, AVL 36 affordable housing project located in Sector 36, Gurugram, Haryana is charging huge sum towards maintenance.

1. Please provide RERA details of the project.

2. Provide copies of rules with regard to providing free maintenance by the society and reasons for charging maintenance amount.

3. Report/approval with regard to quality of construction, especially carpentery works.

4. Report/approval with regard to electrical and plumbing works. Builder is charging extra for installing AC wires. Running more ACs than required will effect overall power consumption as well as environment.

5. Inverters are allowed to be kept in small size balconies which are risky and may cause fire, especially during rainy season. Provide copy of fire inspection reports.

6. Builder is charging premium on sale of flats. Action taken in this regard may be intimated.

7. Builder has not installed/completed all aspects and has created monopoly by charging from individual residents for remaining work, as these works are got done by only one contractor which also affects competition.
