As per The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, one of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board functions is "to inspect air pollution control areas at such intervals as it may think necessary, assess the quality of air therein and take steps for the prevention, control or abatement of air pollu­tion in such areas."

1. Please provide us with information of areas in Bangalore that have been declared as Air pollution control areas.

2. Provide us with information regarding measures taken by the KSPCB to prevent, control or abate pollution in the said areas.
