I hereby request the following information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005. The request is in reference to the public notice dated 15 April 2021 published by UGC, which declared that the qualification of Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is considered equivalent to a Postgraduate (PG) degree.

1. Provide the list of UGC NET subjects along with their subject codes for which a person having a Company Secretary (CS) qualification is eligible to appear for the UGC NET examination.

2. Provide the list of UGC NET subjects along with their subject codes for which a person having a Company Secretary (CS) qualification is eligible to pursue  Ph.D.

3. Provide list of universities that permit individuals holding the Company Secretary (CS) qualification to enroll in Ph.D. programs. Also specify the subjects in which each university allows CS holders to pursue Ph.D.

4. Provide the total number of candidates registered and appeared (having a Company Secretary (CS) qualification) for UGC NET June 2024, along with a subject-wise breakup.
