I am seeking information related to appointment of Temporary faculty positions for ADHOC and TENURE faculty as per Adv No. Dean Admin Desk/ Adhoc-Tenure Faculty/ Recruitment/1211/2024 dated 24th June 2024 in Degree/ PG/Diploma streams from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI Mumbai) autonomous institution owned by the Maharashtra State Government.
1. For the mathematics department, how much weightage (proportion of marks) is given to obtained in written test, interviews and experience, also for other factors like publications etc. is considered for preparation of final merit list of Adhoc faculty interviews. Weightage considered for preparation of final merit list is same for all the departments or it differs for mathematics department ?
2. Please specify that whether weightage given to marks obtained in written test, interviews and experience for preparation of final merit list is same for candidates from OPEN category and reservation ? If not specify both the weightages.
3. Reservation percentage applied for adhoc faculty appointment in mathematics department. Please clearly specify the categoriwise percentage, don't state as per Reservation policy of Maharshtra State.
4. What was the minimum qualification criteria for marks obtained in the GATE level written test conducted. Please mention the criteria as per categories of reservation.
5. Specify the current reservation and open category seat allotment for Adhoc faculties in Mathematics Department.
6. Does separate merit lists were prepared for Degree and Diploma streams in Mathematics Department? If yes please specify minimum eligibility criteria in terms of marks obtained in final merit list marks for both streams.
7. Have you given appointment as a Adhoc faculty to any candidate in Mathematics Department who has scored marks 15 or less than 15 out of 50 in GATE level entrance test conducted.
8. For the Mathematics department, for the final merit list what are the minimum qualification marks for Reservation candidates and candidates from open category so as to get the appointment.
