Include information on the criteria and processes involved in the selection and appointment of retired Defense Officers for such roles.

Please provide information on the criteria and methodology employed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to determine the appointment of Security Officers as Assistant Managers, particularly in comparison to other banks that absorb these officers at Scale 3 or even as Deputy General Managers (DGM).
