The applicant would like to know how are students being allowed to sit in End Semester Examinations even when they fail in Internal Assessment.

Jamia Millia Islamia Ordinance 15-B (XV-B) (Academic) - University Examinations in Four Year Undergraduate Programmes, para no. 4.3.7 states that,

"In case the student fails in the Internal Assessment in the additional chance given to him/her, he/she will be declared as failed in the Internal Assessment and will not be allowed to appear in the Semester-End examination in the said course. Such a student will however be permitted to appear in the next odd/even semester-end examination only if he/she has passed the Internal Assessment in the concerned course."

The aforementioned paragraph also Implies that there is a provision for Improvement in Internal Assessment. However, when same question is asked to the administration, they state that there is no provision for Improvement in Internal Assessment.

The applicant would like a detailed clarification on what is being process is being followed in the University Examinations.
