Show Cause Notice No.JE (VA)/LC-1304 /14961 dated 14.08.2012 was issued to M/s Chintels India Limited by Directorate of Town & Country Planning, Haryana for illegal extraction of ground water and using the same for construction purposes in violation of CPCB directions.
As per reports, one of the reasons for partial collapse of towers/buildings of Chintels Paradiso, Sector 109, Gurugram, Haryana was high chloride content due to use of groundwater for construction of towers/buildings.
Moreover, as per terms & conditions of building plan approval/sanction, the builder/colonizer was to strictly comply with CPCB directions and if any of the conditions are not complied with, the sanction will be void ab-initio.
In this regard, kindly furnish the following information:
1. Details of action taken against the builder/developer M/s Chintels India Limited for non-complying with CPCB directions.
2. Details of action taken against the builder/developer M/s Chintels India Limited for violation of terms & conditions of building plan approval/sanction.
