1. Please provide details of all notifications of data breaches that the RBI has received from financial institutions, including banks and others, operating in India. In the information please include:
a. The nature of the breach, such as compromised ATM, data taken from central database, etc.
b. the name of the source financial institution (FI);
c. where the breach occurred, such as a branch or headquarters;
d. the date of the breach;
e. when the breach was discovered by the FI;
f. when the RBI received the information from the financial institution;
g. how many customers were affected;
h. whether the customers were notified by the FI or the RBI;
i. when the breach was repaired
Please include all pertinent information from 01 January 2016 to 31 October 2016.
