M/s Swiggy and M/s Zomato are charging GST on platform fee as well as GST on packaging charges on each order, which comes to crores of rupees.
However, it is understood that these companies are not depositing the entire amount charged from it's customers in the name of GST to the authorities and evading tax to a larger extent.
1. Please confirm whether the GST deposited by the above companies is in line with the GST charged by it's customers on every order.
2. Kindly intimate total number of complaints received against the above companies during last 5 years for tax evasion and action taken thereupon.
