Government has issued a policy to all sports federations/associations/bodies to adopt ‘National Code Against Age Fraud in Sports’ (NCAAFS ) to check age fraud vide letter No.F.32-18/2009-SP-III dated 19th March,2010.
1. As per the circular of NCAAFS, medical examination on the first occasion for any athlete participating in an age restricted competition. Once an I-Card is issued it will remain valid for participation in subsequent events. Please provide the lists of registered cases/complaints on sportsperson or empanelled doctors and hospitals in state/region wise.
2. However many recognized National Sports Federations (NSF) are not enforcing this stating that the age verification and identity card issuing process is NOT mandated unless a written complaint is received from someone. Please clarify this point and also share documents related to this.
