Therefore, I would like to know whether the Indian Food Department has taken any action or implemented regulations with regard to the use of these additives in food products available in India. 2. Adulterated Raw Cheese Linked to Listeria Outbreak and Improper Allergen Labels in Bakery Products:

In addition to the information on food additives, I am also requesting details on any actions taken by the Indian Food Department to address the following issues:

a) Adulterated Raw Cheese Linked to Listeria Outbreak: I am seeking information on any investigations, enforcement actions, or preventive measures undertaken by the department in response to the adulterated raw cheese that has been linked to a deadly Listeria outbreak. Please provide an update on the status of the investigation and any steps taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

b) Improper Allergen Labels in Bakery Products: I would like to know if the department has addressed instances of improper allergen labeling in bakery products. Please provide information on any initiatives, regulations, or corrective measures implemented to ensure accurate allergen labeling and the prevention of allergic reactions due to mislabeling.
