Department of Town and Country Planning (Gurgaon) is habitual of returning/rejecting RTI applications on the ground that licence number of the project is not mentioned by the RTI applicant.

Whereas the fact is that licence number of the project is already available with the department and it is duty bound to search it's own records.

1. Please intimate action taken by SIC in this regard.

2. Please provide copy of instructions issued by SIC to Department of Town and Country Planning (Gurgaon) to avoid returning/rejecting RTI applications on flimsy grounds/technical grounds.
