1. Whether any exemption has been granted by EPFO for exemption of EPF contributions with respect to contractual/ad-hoc/temporary/project employees employed by ICMR and ICMR institutes
2. Whether any exemption has been granted by ESIC for exemption of ESI contributions with respect to contractual/ad-hoc/temporary/project employees employed by ICMR and ICMR institutes
3. With reference to the Pawan Hans Limited & Ors. Vs Aviation Karmachari Sanghatana (Supreme Court), the Hon'ble Supreme Court reiterated that any person employed directly or indirectly by an establishment is eligible for EPF. In light of the egalitarian judgement, kindly mention whether any file/noting has been processed or placed before the concerned competent committee/authority
4. The Hon'ble Supreme court in the State of Punjab and Ors. v. Jagjit Singh and ors held that
"Any one, who is compelled to work at a lesser wage, does not do so voluntarily. He does so, to provide food and shelter to his family, at the cost of his self respect and dignity, at the cost of his self worth, and at the cost of his integrity. For he knows, that his dependents would suffer immensely, if he does not accept the lesser wage"
In light of the judgement, kindly mention whether any file/noting has been processed or placed before the concerned competent committee/authority to accordingly revise the wages of contractual/ad-hoc/temporary/project persons employed in the level of Group D/C who has been drawing salaries of 16000 and 17000 respectively
