The following information is required in the public interest so as to ensure fair and transparent act of Kochi Mero Rail Corporation Ltd (hereinafter called as KMRL), which is working as a nodal agency for execution of Kochi Metro Project under the Government of Kerala. In the recent past, I feel the decisions and transactions of KMRL is unfair and not transparent. In view of the above, the following information is required from KMRL.
1. Kindly define the role of KMRL in the execution of Kochi Metro Project vis-a-vis the role of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC).
2. It is reported in the press that Kerala Mono Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRC) has taken a decision to appoint KMRL as a Consultant overlooking DMRC. In this connection, dissemination of following information is required.
a) The defined role of DMRC in the execution of Mono Rail Project at Kozhikode & Trivandrum duly furnishing related documents.
b) The proposed role of KMRL in the execution of Mono Rail Project at Kozhikode & Trivandrum duly furnishing the related documents.
c) Please furnish all the communications originated from KMRL and replies received thereon from KMRC in respect of appointing the former as Consultant.
d) The sanctioned strength of KMRL category-wise along with their pay scales.
e) The number of persons appointed by KMRL under each category with their designation and scale of pay.
f) The expenditure on administrative cost of KMRL for the financial year 2013-14 & up to 30.06.2014.Sir,
