Sub: Failure to contain spread of COVID disease by AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association (AVL 36 Society, Sector 36, Gurugram, Haryana) resulting in fatalities

AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association (AVL 36 Society, Sector 36, Gurugram, Haryana) has failed to comply with the COVID directions/instructions issued by government from time to time.

- No proper cleaning of common areas is done.

- No proper sanitization is done on regular basis.

- Residents are allowed to keep their belongings, especially footwear, shoe racks, etc. in common areas which further add to the spread of COVID disease.

- Due to lackadaisical attitude of office bearers of AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association and failure to contain the spread of COVID disease, the society was declared as containment zone in the recent past.

Kindly provide following information:

1. Inspection carried out by concerned department/authority to check whether directions/instructions issued by government are being scrupulously followed in letter & spirit by AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association or not.

2. Copies of all inspection reports.

3. Copies of instructions issued by office bearers of AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association, if any, to residents not to keep their belongings, especially footwear, shoe racks, etc. in common areas which further add to the spread of COVID disease.

4. Inspection carried out by concerned department/authority to check whether residents are following guidelines not to keep their belongings, especially footwear, shoe racks, etc. in common areas which further add to the spread of COVID disease.

5. Action taken against office bearers of AVL36Gurgaon Apartment Owners Association for violating the provisions of Disaster Management Act as well as Epidemic Diseases Act which led to fatalities in the society due to COVID.
