Section 23 (2) (i) and Section (5) of the Haryana Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2009 states as under:
"(2) (i) It shall be the duty of the District Magistrate to ensure that life and properties of senior citizens of the district are protected and they are able to live with security and dignity".
(5) In case of danger to life and property of a senior citizen, it shall be the duty of the District Magistrate, or an officer subordinate duly authorised to protect the life and property of such senior citizen."
In view of the above, kindly furnish the following information:
(a) Copies of records showing action taken by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Gurugram to protect lives and properties of senior citizens residing in Chintels Paradiso, Sector 109, Gurugram, Haryana (all 9 towers) including directions issued to DM.
(b) Suo-motu cognizance taken by court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Gurugram to protect lives and properties of senior citizens residing in Chintels Paradiso, Sector 109, Gurugram, Haryana (all 9 towers) including directions issued to DM.
NOTE: - I am enclosing self-attested Xerox copy of Voter ID card as a proof of my Indian Citizenship. The address that is appearing on my voter ID card is my residential address, I am filing the RTI request from my office address.
