Please intimate relevant provisions of RTI Act and/or any provide copies of rules/order/circular issued, if any, which states that, "once information has been provided in public domain and on the website, the said information is no longer held by or under the control of the public authority and no longer accessible under right to information".
Such responses of CIC are only weakening the RTI Act rather than strengthening it. As information watchdog, CIC should make attempts to provide information rather than restricting it. Finding information on website is equivalent to finding pearl in the ocean.
