I am submitting this RTI application on behalf of many customers who are facing the issue which I am going to mention below. A few days back I visited one of the public sector banks where I am maintaining an account. I stand there in the queue where many customers are standing in the front of the bank counter to do the transaction and other related things. Because of some rush in banks, We need to wait for several minutes to do those transactions. There is a reason behind this RTI because I have seen some customers who are having the Current Account or those who are coming regularly or who are well-known to the employees or employee's friends don't come and stand in the queue. They will go inside the branch working place where employees are working and submit the challans and they will wait behind that employee's counter until their work is finished.

When many customers are standing in front of the counter but that employee turns back and gets that challan immediately from those customers who are standing behind him/her. They also went to the cash counter and give the amount to the cashier who is accepting deposits from the side of the counter from him (especially for him) while many customers are standing in front of the cash counter When I ask him why you are doing this type of inhumane thing when senior citizens and other customers are waiting in front of the counter he simply told go and ask the Branch Manager he is only allowing them. When I go and ask him he told me they are regular customers who are maintaining a good balance in their account and they are depositing huge amounts how I can allow them in the front of the counter. So, I searched the RBI circulars to find an answer for this but I didn't find an answer.

Kindly help the customers who are treated this way and who are going to be treated in this way.
