Kindly refer to the news titled, "High Court reminds Airports Authority of India it’s not under East India Company" (as available on Internet), which, interalia, mentions as under:

"The HC in its judgement said, It needs to be reminded to the respondents that they answer the description of State under Article 12 of the Constitution of India and therefore they cannot take up the contentions which otherwise would have been available to them during the Colonial Rule of East India Company, ours being a Welfare State governed by Rule of Law".

In this connection, it is informed that Airports Authority of India CHQ New Delhi is in the practice of withholding  salaries of employees without following the due procedure as laid down under AAI Employees (CDA) Regulations, 2003 thereby causing extreme financial hardship to the effected employees, especially at this critical time of the pandemic situation.

Please provide following information:

1. Action taken against AAI as per above judgement.

2. Whether AAI can stop salary without following due procedure as laid down under AAI Employees (CDA) Regulations, 2003.

3. Whether AAI can stop salary without passing order by disciplinary authorities.

4. Whether any instructions have been issued by ministry/govt to AAI to withhold salaries only after following due procedure.
