Please intimate whether (a) CVC circular No.02/01/2016 dated 18.01.2016 on the subject "Timely completion of disciplinary proceedings/departmental inquiry proceedings - improving vigilance administration" and (b) CVC circular No.22/12/21 dated 08.12.2021 on the subject "Timely finalization of departmental inquiry proceedings - improving vigilance administration" is applicable only for vigilance/corruption cases or all types of departmental inquiries including unauthorized absence.

2. Please intimate whether (a) CVC circular No.02/01/2016 dated 18.01.2016 on the subject "Timely completion of disciplinary proceedings/departmental inquiry proceedings - improving vigilance administration" and (b) CVC circular No.22/12/21 dated 08.12.2021 on the subject "Timely finalization of departmental inquiry proceedings - improving vigilance administration" is applicable for disciplinary proceedings/departmental inquiries related to UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE also (which have no vigilance angle/corruption angle).
