This refers to the recent news pertaining to Mr. Sameer Wankhede whose inquiry/investigation is being conducted by multiple agencies for alleged assets disproportionate to income and extortion for settling/opening drug cases and victimizing the innocent.
1. Please furnish details pertaining to verification of credentials including those entered in the annual property returns by GM of Disciplinary Cell posted in CHQ Airports Authority of India who has applied in PESB for the post of Member (HR).
2. Whether PESB has ensured that assets in the possession of the officer are not disproportionate to income as the said officer (handing disciplinary matters) uses very expensive vehicles showing these as gifted by husband and also having property not accounted for in these returns.
NOTE: Earlier also, vigilance cases have been initiated against the said officer.
