Please provide certified copy of response for the below points of information requested under RTI Act 2005 and provide them certified as a documentary evidence under Section 76 of Indian Evidence Act,1872.
Q1.Is the email id of CGRF Tiruvarur functional and working.
Q2.Which officer is responsible for overall reply for the emails addressed to the email id of CGRF – Tiruvarur
Q3. Are Exparte judgments provided only on the basis of merit or not on the basis of merit too. Please provide information regarding the specific regulation in particular dealing related to this (For example, which particular regulation of Regulations for Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Electricity Ombudsman or any other acts or G.O etc dealing related to it).
Q4.What actions the CGRF Forum officer shall take suo moto as a public officer (even when not as a forum member who does not have jurisdiction suppose in a case), when he or she comes to know (aware) during an enquiry that an Unauthorized / illegal EB connection is granted.
Q5.Are there any act or rules not to inform the petitioner about the progress in forum
Q6.Are forum meetings conducted as open meetings
Q7.Please provide information whether the following are provided to the attendees of the forum meet who have filed petition.
a. Invitation / Summon to attend the forum meet
b. Attendance Slip for the petitioner that he has attended the forum meet
c. Information on the progress in inquiry, investigation, assessments, orders, update etc through letter
Q8.Are there any specific regulations for CGRF, not to conduct forum meeting on Sundays (as major number of petitions are filed by domestic consumers)
Q9 Are licensees also invited to attend forum meet on a petition through a letter of invite, are they also invited at the same time mentioned in the petitioner's letter of invite.
Q10 Are all participants of the forum meet given same time to attend the redressal forum meet on a particular day.
