Section 42 (4) of AAI Act, 1994 mentions that, "No regulation made by the Authority under
this section shall have effect until it has been approved by the Central Government and published in the Official Gazette".
In this connection, kindly provide the following information under RTI Act, 2005:
1. Whether the circulars/clarifications/orders issued by AAI incorporating new clause or deleting/editing any clause in the AAI Regulations also need to be published in the official gazette, as per above section of AAI Act.
2. Whether the circulars/clarifications/orders issued by AAI incorporating new clause or deleting/editing any clause in the AAI Regulations need the approval of Ministry of Civil Aviation and/or Ministry of Law, DPE.
3. Whether the circulars/clarifications/orders issued by AAI incorporating certain clause or amending the AAI Regulations are valid (until & unless the same are approved by the Ministry and published in the official gazette).
4. Whether the circulars/clarifications/orders issued by AAI incorporating certain clause or amending the AAI Regulations need the approval of AAI Board.
5. Whether the circulars/clarifications/orders issued by AAI incorporating certain clause or amending the AAI Regulations should specify clearly that these are approved by Board/Ministry.
